However, Dracula — a novel told as a series of letters, journal entries, and newspaper articles — is one of those books where 16 different people could read it and come away with 16 different things to say about it. The story is told in epistolary format, as a series of letters, diary entries, newspaper articles, and ships' log entries, whose narrators are the novel's protagonists, and occasionally supplemented with newspaper clippings relating events not directly witnessed. Just sorting through covers that might be appropriate for this, strikes me that as a rule it's the ones that steer well clear of the over-familiar Lugosi, C. Like it was a series, where the guy who wrote the first novel just happened to be the best of the bunch.
