On the nose, there are intense aromas of cherry and juniper, with rich notes of cherry and almond on the palate, which compliment perfectly to give a classic Bakewell flavour. It’s great solo (on the rocks) or mixing with tonic waters, lemonades or using it as a base for cocktails. With notes of sweet cherry and nutty almond, balanced with the faintly peppery juniper, this gin is a delicious halfway point between sweet and neutral. Her nephew now makes gin liqueurs inspired by her, so it was only a matter of time before they got to cherry Bakewell.In a stemless gin glass, build single shots of the gin, then each gin liqueur over plenty of ice and top up with Appletiser.
