Purr is not a complex or very special scent however it doesn't smell like any other of my 300 perfumes and this is a plus for me. I spray this twice on my neck for a day at the office as it projects well enough, but you can defenitely apply a lot more if you're going out in the evening. It is great for spring and summer, it's not sweet at all and those that are sensitive to strong scents can wear this. I still wear it now and then at 31, but sometimes I’ll combine it with something to add a bit of maturity.

Sick of it wife wears it most days as it was a gift it’s originate and she works in a hot sweaty job and as a reault the smell becomes worse it seems cheap not tarty not musky just too synthetic there is no warmth excitement or interest. The fragrance is not offensive because it has a really poor projection so you could totally wear this at work or school without any complaints because it doesn’t project much at all. At first I was not sure how I felt about Purr, because initially it's a sweet, peach-dominant fruity floral with a touch of fresh bamboo.This is something which preferably should be worn on cooler weather because of the ambery sandalwood drydown which makes you feel warm and gives you comfort but I could be just as good as pissing in the wind with this description because afterall everything depends on ones body chemistry. Of course I would not pick this for say, a wedding, an aniversary, or a critical job interview, but that aside it pretty much works for any situation. Top notes are Peach, Red Apple, Gardenia and Bamboo; middle notes are Jasmine, Freesia and Rose; base notes are Vanille, Coconut, Orchid, Musk, Amber and Sandalwood. For me,it opens with juicy red apple and bambo which adds a crisp,fresh and green woody quality to scent which I find pleasant. Hearkens to mind the black and white film, 'The Mask of Zoro' from 1940 set in Nueva California with Tyrone Powers and Linda Darnell. It is also quite long lasting, I get about 4 to 5 hour, not one with best sillage but people would notice it when I wear this if they are close by. I like to spray this one on the back of my neck, and bask in the sillage as after all the sillage is what others smell on you. There are so many peaches and cream scents and bamboo/coconut scents, but this is the best of all four. There aren't any standout notes (to my nose) except maybe peach, apple and vanilla with some nondescript florals. Maybe I got a bad bottle to begin with, but all I can smell is some plasticky sourness from fake, wannabe citruses. But I can also understand sweet smells seem to be dominant among celebrity perfumes and bargain finds.It’s the perfect “sweet scent” for some one who has a low tolerance for sweetness but still gets the occasional craving for one. I always associate "Purr" with a very specific memory and time in my life, when this was one of my first "Grown up" perfumes. It's a little too fruity to be a vintage powdery scent, but it's not far off during the drydown, which seems to last a good while. The fragrance is completed by a base of musk, white amber, sinfully sweet vanilla, orchids, and exotic sandalwood.
