Dear Dominic - I just wanted to let you know what a fantastic product you have. Our cat decided to start attempting to abscond out the windows a few weeks ago- just as the weather started to get hot hot hot. We've had to keep the windows closed for fear he might fall out (he's not the most dainty or co-ordinated boy!) and it has been unbearably hot. 10 minutes after the postman delivered the Flat Cats, we have them fitted, the windows are wide open and we can have a fresh breeze without needing to wonder what the cat is up to. Thank you so much for the flat cat screen. I moved at the weekend into a bungalow and have had to keep my precious cat inside to keep him safe. This will put my wife’s mind to rest as at the end of summer last year we had a cat come into our bedroom via the garage roof and she has refused to have the bedroom windows open at night ever since, but with Flat cats problem should be solved. They are sturdy products, I have hadone of the cats climbing it and it held very well under her weight. She is not a very big cat but shedoes weight between7 or9 pounds (haven't weight her recently).Thank you so much for the two standard flat cats. They are brilliant!!! Just wanted to say that the Flat cat arrives in very good time and we are really pleased with it! Our two kittens are safe and well in our flat! Thunder in particular has used it to scale the window! Both cats took to them straightaway. The more inquisitive of our two, just had one or two gentle scratches at the first one we put up - no damage done and after all cat flaps were accepted by them. Safe cats and fresh, cooling air up and down stairs. One primary reason why you may be considering leaving open windows for your cat is to provide them with fresh air and access to natural sights and sounds, which can help keep them mentally stimulated. Once they're neutered and microchipped aged 6 months, they can explore outside. The breeder I got the kittens from is asking about it also Something to keep in mind while protecting your home is the placement of a fire escape ladder. Some people leave their fire escape ladders hanging from their windows. This is an invitation for burglary. Not only can a fire escape ladder be used to reach an upper-level window, but it can also be used to pry open a window or a door. So while it’s critically important to have a fire escape ladder, just be sure to keep it rolled up and put away while you are not home. Final Words on Windows I have already sung my praises of FlatCats to my anyone who will listen lol. I will definitely come to you again if I decide get any more As owners of many cats over the years, we have had pet window screens installed on multiple windows. We have found guards to work very well when our cats were kittens, which in turn allowed them to learn when putting themselves in a dangerous situation. The effectiveness of window screens is often down to the fitting of the net or mesh and also how obstructive your cat is, sometimes more destructive cats will claw and climb window nets to break through, but from experience we found this only happened on the odd occasion.
