I received a pair of Xero Shoes Genesis when I returned by Amuri Venture sandals for outsole warranty replacement. Xero Shoes had replaced Venture by Genesis in their product program. The Genesis look utterly simple However, if you run up and down steep ascents and descents like I run on a winding road with 900 meters ascent in just 8.5 km (and same descent) to a mountain fort, you won’t be very sure that your foot won’t slip inside your sandals. This gets worse in rains! With the help of his wife Lena Phoenix, Xero Shoes managed to hit the ground running.
